Preparing the Gammon Joint

Before you can air fry your gammon joint, you need to prepare it. Start by soaking the joint in cold water for at least an hour. This will help to reduce the saltiness of the gammon. Once the joint has been soaked, pat it dry with kitchen paper and place it in a roasting tin.

Air Frying the Gammon Joint

Once the gammon joint is prepared, you can begin air frying it. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C. Place the gammon joint in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, check the internal temperature of the gammon with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be at least 75°C. If it is not, cook for a few more minutes until it reaches the desired temperature.
